Thursday night 19th May at Ampthill Town was the venue for a well attended fixture between Dunstable Town Youth and Flitwick Eagles FC.

A penalty within 2 minutes saw Dunstable take an early lead. With pressure on the Eagles defence led to Dunstable added a second, via an own goal, to see the score 2-0 to Dunstable before half time.

Second half saw Eagles start brightly and pressure from both teams made for an enjoyable and hard fought battle, eventually seeing the Dunstable defence succumb to a goal by Brad Clarke with 15 minutes remaining, Ethan Hill adding  his own with just two minutes remaining to ensure extra time.

Eagles then came out for the first period of extra time to add 2 more courtesy of Danny Bull and a second from Brad Clarke to allow a cushion for the second period of extra time.

Tired legs now but both teams still pressed forwards to increase the scoreline with Nick Gregory adding a fifth for Eagles before Dunstable added a consolation a few minutes later.

The night belonged to the League Division 1 Champions consolidating a season where they have remained unbeaten in both league and league cup competition.
