News & Updates

Here you can find a collection of stories about the girls teams over the years.

Arsenal Women Experience Day

27th October 2019

Girls take over BT sports. Great experience day at Arsenal Women.

On Sunday 27th October our girls division had their annual experience day at Arsenal Women. This year again saw us being selected for one of the biggest home games of the season versus Manchester City Women. 2 Full Buses, 52 Eagles players, 70+ Coaches/Parents/Siblings.... All travelled down to Borehamwood to enjoy the day. Incredibly the weather held fine and as usual the Arsenal coaching team came up trumps. The girls were treated to a 1 hour 45 minute training session by 6 Arsenal coaches and then made their way into the stadium. A huge crowd in the ground of 2,500 and a nationwide audience on BT Sports saw our girls line the pitch with flags. Then the teams marched out with legends of the game getting to hold hands with future legends. Beth Mead, Vivianne Miedema, Danielle Van De Donk, Steph Houghton, Jill Scott etc all in awe of Lonie, Jess, the triplets and all our other girls.

A great win for Arsenal and both sets of professional players made their way over to the fans and our girls at the end of the game for selfies and chats. How football should be.

A fantastic Day! #COYE
