Artificial Grass Pitch (3G) Footwear Policy

For all teams training or playing on the Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP), there is a strict acceptable footwear policy defined by Flitwick Football Centre, that needs to be complied with. Please ensure that your players and coaching staff are fully aware of the policy and bring the correct footwear.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Boots with moulded studs, plastic screw-in studs or short plastic blades are the only footwear permitted on the Artificial Grass Pitch. NO Metal studs permitted.

 

There can be no exceptions to this, and any players or team coaches deemed to be in breach of the policy (i.e. not wearing the required footwear) will not be allowed onto the AGP. Please take note!

Although this may seem a bit harsh, it is absolutely necessary in order for the Flitwick Football Centre to maintain their warranty on the new pitch; to pass the FIFA accreditation (so that matches can be played on the AGP) and to avoid sizeable maintenance bills.
