Flitwick Eagles Girls Tournament 2024 Information

If you have entered Flitwick Eagles Girls Tournament on Saturday 25th May then thank you, it’s great to be hosting it again this year, as last year we missed out due to the building of Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP).

We have teams travelling from a number of different counties and leagues, let’s hope that the weather and traffic will be kind to us and that you all come back again year on year. The email with the tournament pack will hopefully confirm all the details you need. However, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email us at

A range of food, drink and other refreshments are all available at the event, we have something for everyone, with outside seating for the Bar and Café.

As we now have an Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) this will host the 9-a-side Cup competitions (only).

The U12 & U13 competitions will be separated into Cup and Plate. The Cup Competitions will be 9-a-side on the AGP and the Plate Competitions will be 9-a-side on Grass; both formed of groups of 6 teams, playing a 'round robin' format, with trophies for the winner and runner up only.

Please take note that teams entering the U12 & U13 Cup competitions, will be playing all matches on the Artificial Grass Pitch and there is a strict ‘Acceptable Footwear Policy ‘ in place (see attached policy). Please ensure you read the  ‘Flitwick Eagles Tournament AGP Footwear Policy’ and both the players and coaching staff are fully aware of this policy.

All the teams are guaranteed to play 1 hour of football.

The Tournament is Online :

Entries to the tournament are almost closed out and full details of our tournament will be online at the FA Fulltime website once we have built the league tables with the final entrants (work in progress). The link to the tournament online is here, where you can also track your teams progress online. Results & tables will be updated online real time plus the screens/boards in the pavilion will also display fixtures, results & league tables.

Please share the link with your parents and supporters, so that everyone can all see results and updated league tables as they happen.

Copies of the tournament fixtures for your team will be handed out to managers on the day, but for those that want to follow the fixtures and results online, we ask that you send your teams link to parents / supporters on the day.

Dates & Times :

There are separate tournaments morning and afternoon on Saturday 25th May. Please double check the time slot your team is playing at, which is stated on the ticket you purchased.

  • If you are playing in the AM tournament then please try to register your team no later than 8:30am. First kick-offs for the AM tournament are at 09:00am.

  • If you are playing in the PM tournament then please try to register your team no later than 1:30pm. First kick-offs for the PM tournament are at 2:00pm.

Team Registration and Rules :

Team Registration will take place in the pavilion building. Please complete the Team Registration Form in advance if possible, to save time and queuing on the day. A copy of the tournament rules can be found using the link below (and is attached in the tournament pack emailed out); however copies are available on the day.

Tournament Venue and Parking

The  tournament venue is: The Flitwick Community Football Centre, Ampthill Road, Flitwick, MK45 1BA (opposite the Shell Garage on the A507 roundabout by Redborne College).

Free Tournament Parking is at Redborne Upper School via the lower entrance.

Tournament Parking and Drop Off Zone are at Redborne Upper School MK45 2NU only. Please ask all of your players/parents/supporters to follow the signs and the instructions of the Flitwick Eagles Parking Marshals on the day. Parking is at Redborne Upper (South) School only (see Parking Details attached for details and exceptions for blue badge holders).

NOTE : There is absolutely NO parking or dropping off at the Football Centre (except for disabled badge holders). Please instruct players / parents to go straight to Redborne College.

Redborne College Parking is a 5 to 10 minute walk away (players can be dropped off in the Drop Off Zone which is closer and walk across the footbridge to the Football Centre). Please see the ‘FE Tournament Address-Directions-Information’ flyer below for a map and more information.

Please advise drivers that they need to allow about 15 additional minutes to their journey time for parking up,(as there are some temporary traffic lights into Westoning and Flitwick and I’m not sure when they will be removed) plus another 10 minutes; to give players enough time to walk across to the Football Centre, to be ready for their first match. It gets very busy all around Redborne Upper School for about 45mins before kick-off times. Please also advise drivers to take extra care when parking, as there are lots of young children attending!

Please ask parents / supporters not to park in the streets adjacent to the Football Centre, as this will cause congestion, delays, safety concerns and will inconvenience the nearby residents who will complain to the football centre staff and management which is not fair on them.

Please instruct all attendees & supporters to only use the free tournament parking at Redborne Upper School; or as directed by the Parking Marshalls on the day. Thank you.
